An eligible family member is the child or grandchild of a current and active member of this chapter.

The following criteria must be met in order for an eligible family member to apply for this scholarship: Member and eligible family member must both reside in Florida at the time of application.
The member is eligible to apply after three consecutive years of active paid status with the Florida chapter. This period will begin on the date of the initial paid membership.
Eligible family member must be 24 years of age or younger. Eligible family member must be enrolled for an under graduate degree only. All eligible applications will be forwarded to the Chairperson for the Scholarship Committee.
The Executive Board votes on the number of scholarships to award and to who the scholarships are awarded. The scholarship award is subject to annual funding availability and will be awarded in three levels based upon the rankings of candidates and recommendations by the Committee Chairperson.
Youth Leadership Program The Florida chapter will attempt to sponsor at least one eligible family member to attend the Youth Leadership Program each year.
